For hundreds of years, we have tried to attach meaning and purpose to the gentle Dragonfly. Some consider the winged insects a spirit animal or a “totem”, meant to inspire the believer through life, or remind us of a loved one that has passed.
However, the most common attribute of the beautiful dragonfly is change.
While the Bible says little about our friends with colorful wings, it does say a lot about change.
One great example comes from Paul in his letter to Ephesians 4:22-24
"You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, and to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
to put on a new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness".
